The Long Slide is a Front Range mystery novel unfolding through the eyes of Colorado reporter Henry Gavin. Notions of the old west appear in dramatic modern form as Gavin races to find a radical, destructive environmentalist and his son who have both gone missing. The exciting search, filled with shakedowns, shoot-outs, and chases, takes us throughout Northern Colorado and Wyoming, leaving our main character beaten and bruised, with little time to solve some of his own personal mysteries back home.
